From Vision to Reality: The Dream Behind Our Journey
The Wellness Clinic was founded by a family doctor and a mental health worker, who believe that every part of your health and wellness is interconnected and can’t be properly managed in traditional health care silos.
At the wellness clinic, we offer a range of services designed to support your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.
We use a comprehensive, team-based approach to ensure you feel heard and supported.
Our Co-Founders
Jenn Sherb
BSW/RSW, Counsellor
Jenn is a passionate co-founder of our wellness clinic, where she merges her extensive experience in mental health with a creative and holistic approach to wellness. With over 15 years of dedicated service as a mental health worker and social worker, Jenn has cultivated a deep understanding of the complexities of human experience, allowing her to innovate comprehensive strategies that empower individuals and families.
Holding a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina, Jenn is registered with both the Manitoba College of Social Workers and the Canadian Association of Social Workers. Her commitment to continuous learning is evidenced by her Health Coach certificate from York University in Toronto, enhancing her ability to guide clients toward whole wellness.
As a mother of two nearly grown boys, Jenn recognizes the importance of nurturing both mental and emotional health within the family unit. Though she has stepped back from a full-time counselling role, she still offers couples sessions, using her insights to foster stronger relationships.
At the clinic, Jenn’s vision is clear: to optimize the delivery of holistic services that encompass the mind, body, and spirit. She believes in the power of individualized care and collaborates with clients to establish trusting relationships. Through a variety of innovative approaches, she helps clients set achievable goals, develop new skills, and discover healthier coping mechanisms.
Jenn's creative approach to mental health underscores the belief that wellness is a multifaceted journey. She is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where everyone can explore their unique path to health and fulfillment.
Alise Gaiser, a proud mother of two, was born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba. Her curiosity and determination to dig deeper have shaped her career as a healthcare provider. While she strongly believes in evidence-based care, Alises passion lies in taking it a step further by educating and empowering her patients to make informed decisions, particularly in the areas of womens health and mental health.
Alise holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Brandon University and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Manitoba. She completed her Family Medicine residency in Brandon, through the University of Manitoba's Family Medicine Residency Program, and now serves as a primary preceptor for both family medicine residents and medical students - something she takes great pride in.
Alise's personal experiences have played a significant role in her journey. Early in her career, she struggled with burnout and later with postpartum anxiety, which she eventually discovered was linked to undiagnosed ADHD. The lack of wrap-around services and holistic resources available during these challenges motivated her to co-found The Wellness Clinic - a space where patients could receive the comprehensive care and support they need.
Her vision centers around providing holistic, interdisciplinary care that addresses not only physical health but also the mental and emotional well-being of her patients.
